HMIPowder Metal (P/M) superalloys meet the stringent requirements demanded by the aerospace industry. In our structural solutions, each powder particle is a micro ingot containing all the constituents of the alloy. This inhibits segregation of constituents at high temperatures - a problem found in cast and wrought products. P/M results in finer grains for improved forging, producing parts that are super-reliable and that operate for thousands of cycles.
